The140-metre-long skyway was setup as part of the Eastern Corridor Tourism Project in Nilambur The sky walkway is set up in Bungalow Hills of Nilambur forest. The walkway enables tourists to enjoy the serene beauty of forest on the banks of Chaliyarriver. Apart from visiting forest areas and the waterfalls the visitors of the region would have facility to directly watch the functioning of the hydel power station. A watch tower and shelter also have been arranged for the visitors
